Integrates Like Another Teammate
Lumadata plugs into your ecosystem and supports your business like another member of your team.
Integrated with Leading Software Platforms
Jira
Jira integration with Lumadata allows engineers to operate their processes and workflows as normal without learning new software. Starting with issue creation, Lumadata automatically creates issues in Jira whenever issues are detected in the data warehouse, and automatically places tickets in the active sprint. Engineers can begin executing their support workflows directly in Jira. As engineers update ticket and add comments s in Jira, this information flows into Lumadata so business users are informed. This eliminates the overhead of having to communicate with many stakeholders during critical troubleshooting processes. After the issue is resolved and the ticket is marked "Done" in Jira, Lumadata closes the alert and reactivates the test which detected the issue. All of these steps happen automatically in Lumadata; no new manual steps are added to the engineering team's support process.
Github
The catalog in Lumadata can be built, managed, and maintained as code - outside of the Lumadata platform. Lumadata integrates directly with Github and has Github marketplace "actions" to automatically deploy your latest definitions to Lumadata as you create, update, and delete tests in your catalog. This allows engineering teams to tightly couple the data engineering and data testing development processes and deploy pipelines and tests simultaneously as part of the same build. Unifying test development and pipeline developoment ensures that engineers are covering their code with adequate data monitoring to protect the business from unpredictable data faults.
Slack and Discord
Many engineering teams communicate with business stakeholders through shared channels in popular messaging platforms like Slack and Discord. Lumadata integrates with these messengers directly and is able to post alerts in shared channels automatically.
